Jolanta Caban-Mlącka ur. 30 grudnia 1962 r. w Lublinie.

Ukończyła Państwowe Liceum Sztuk Plastycznych w Lublinie; Wyższa Szkoła Sztuk Plastycznych w Łodzi - wydział grafiki (1984-1986); Akademia Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie - wydział malarstwa w Pracowni prof. Rajmunda Ziemskiego (1986-1989). Doktorat w dziedzinie sztuk pięknych obroniła na Uniwersytecie Jana Kochanowskiego w Kielcach (2019).

Dyplom z malarstwa - 1989 r. - wyróżnienie - pracownia R. Ziemskiego - cykl "DWOJE"; Aneks z grafiki warsztatowej w pracowni prof. Romana Artymowskiego - linoryt - cykl "Dwoje we wnętrzu" - wyróżnienie; Szkoła Sztuk Pięknych, Montpellier, Francja.

  „…Jolantę Caban spotykałem kilka razy na jej wystawach, ale najciekawsze portrety zrobiłem jej 13 lipca 2017 r. w Warszawie, gdzie tłem były jej obrazy…” – Czesław Czapliński.

W 1993 zdobyła II Nagrodę na konkursie malarstwa Montfort I`Amaury.

Jolanta Caban-Mlącka, born December 30, 1962, in Lublin, Poland.

She graduated from the State Secondary School of Fine Arts in Lublin; studied at the Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź – Faculty of Graphics (1984–1986); and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw – Faculty of Painting in the studio of Professor Rajmund Ziemski (1986–1989). She received her PhD in Fine Arts from the Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce in 2019.

Diploma in painting – 1989 – distinction – studio of R. Ziemski – cycle “Two”;

Annex in printmaking in the studio of Professor Roman Artymowski – linocut – cycle “Two in an Interior” – distinction;School of Fine Arts, Montpellier, France.
