Pamiętam jak nacinęłem migawkę, pierwsze zdjęcie, po chwili zmieniam film, następny… Dziś z perspektywy czasu wybrać kilka zdjęć nie jest łatwo. Zresztą zawsze z wyborem są problemy.

Isabella Rossellini (born Isabella Fiorella Elettra Giovanna Rossellini) (born June 18, 1952 in Rome) - actress, director, writer and model.
Rossellini was raised in Rome as well as Santa Marinella and Paris. Her mother, Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman (1915–1982), starred in Casablanca (1942), Who Tolls the Bell (1943) and Hitchcock's The Girl (1945). Her father, Roberto Rossellini (1906–1977), was an Italian screenwriter, director and film producer, whose most beloved films were: Rome, Open City (1945) and Germany - Year Zero (1948). Her twin sister, Ingrid Isotta Rossellini, became an Assistant Professor of Italian Literature at Columbia University. Her brother, Roberto Ingmar Giusto Giuseppe Rossellini, is a film producer. He also has a half-sister, Pia Lindström (from her mother's first marriage to Petter Lindström) who has become a theater critic. Her half-siblings also include Gil, Raffaella and Marco Romano (died at the age of nine).
She grew up in Rome, Santa Marinelli and Paris. At the age of five, she underwent appendicitis surgery. When she was 11, she was diagnosed with scoliosis; as a 13-year-old she was unable to get up and move on her own. To fix this, she had to undergo an 18-month trial of painful stretches, body casts, and spine surgery using pieces of one of her tibia bones.
At the age of 19, she moved to New York, where she graduated from Finch College and the Faculty of Social Sciences at the New School University, working as a translator and TV journalist for RAI. She also appeared on and off on the TV show L'altra Domenica (Another Sunday) with Roberto Benigni.
In 1976, she made her screen debut as a nun in the fantasy melodrama A Matter of Time opposite her mother - Ingrid Bergman, Liza Minnelli, Charles Boyer and Fernando Rey. Then she starred in the drama Łąka (Il Prato, 1979) with Michele Placido. Rossellini is involved in nature conservation activities. She is the president and director of the Howard Gilman Foundation - a leading nature, art, photography and dance institution - and was a board member of the Wildlife Conservation Network.
