Jacek Reszetko artysta malarz, ur. 1951r.

W roku1976 uzyskał dyplom na Wydziale Projektowania Plastycznego ASP w Warszawie. (Malarstwo w pracowni prof. Ireny Wilczyńskiej) Studiował także w Wyższej Szkole Sztuki i Rzemiosła w Oslo. W latach 1979-1981 zrealizował cykl autorskich wystaw w Muzeum Literatury w Warszawie. W latach 1990-1994 był właścicielem galerii sztuki “Dolna Volta” na warszawskim Żoliborzu.

Projektuje przedmioty (meble, lampy, szachy, zegary). W roku 2000 działalność ta zaprezentowała indywidualna wystawa w Instytucie Wzornictwa w Warszawie. Obecnie projektuje wnętrza użytkowe, rezydencje i apartamenty, które uzupełnia własnym malarstwem. We wrześniu 2022 roku, w galerii-muzeum B.Biegasa w Warszawie, miała miejsce wystawa pod tytułem Jacek Reszetko KOLOROHOLIZM. Właśnie wówczas zrobiłem mu pierwsze zdjęcia z jego pracami, a potem spotkaliśmy się 8 lipca 2026 r. w galerii przy ul. Hożej 1, przy Pl.Trzech Krzyży w Warszawie, gdzie do niedawna był sklep z ubraniami. Muszę powiedzieć, że znakomite wnętrze na wystawę, co mam nadzieję jest widoczne na zdjęciach.

Jacek Reszetko, born in 1951, is a Polish painter.

In 1976, he graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, earning his diploma in painting under Professor Irena Wilczyńska. He also studied at the National College of Art and Design in Oslo. Between 1979 and 1981, he presented a series of solo exhibitions at the Museum of Literature in Warsaw. From 1990 to 1994, he owned the Dolna Volta Art Gallery in Warsaw's Żoliborz district.

In addition to painting, Reszetko designs functional objects, including furniture, lamps, chess sets, and clocks. In 2000, this aspect of his work was showcased in a solo exhibition at the Institute of Industrial Design in Warsaw. Today, he specializes in designing commercial interiors, private residences, and luxury apartments, which he complements with his own paintings.

In September 2022, the B. Biegas Gallery-Museum in Warsaw hosted his exhibition titled Jacek Reszetko: Coloroholism. It was there that I first photographed him together with his paintings. We met again on July 8, 2026, at the gallery located at 1 Hoża Street, near Three Crosses Square in Warsaw, in a space that until recently had housed a clothing store. I must say that it is an outstanding venue for an exhibition, and I hope its remarkable interior is evident in my photographs.
