Gerhard Jürgen Blum-Kwiatkowski (ur. 22 października 1930 w Faulen[a], zm. 11 sierpnia 2015 w Hünfeld) – polski artysta działający w Niemczech, malarz, twórca instalacji, teoretyk sztuki, założyciel Museum Modern Art Hünfeld oraz galerii New Space w Fuldzie, inicjator utworzenia i współzałożyciel Centrum Sztuki Galeria EL, twórca idei „sztuki reduktywnej”.
Studiował sztuki plastyczne i filozofię sztuki (1952–1967). Po wojnie zamieszkał w Elblągu. Był współzałożycielem i kierownikiem Klubu Młodej Inteligencji „Czerwona Oberża” (1956–1961), następnie inicjatorem i kierownikiem Laboratorium Sztuki Galeria EL w latach 1961–1974. Inicjator i kurator pięciu edycji Biennale Form Przestrzennych w Elblągu w latach 1965–1973, będących przeglądami i sympozjami sztuki poszukującej (neokonstruktywizm, konceptualizm, kino rozszerzone, performance). W Elblągu można spotkać w przestrzeni publicznej formę jaką stworzył w czasie I Biennale Form Przestrzennych w 1965. W 1974 wyjechał na stałe do Niemiec. Od tego też czasu realizował ideę „stacjonizmu” w sztuce, zakładając w ramach wyższych szkół ludowych (Volkshochschulen) w różnych miejscach tzw. stacje sztuki (w klasztorze Cornberg, zamku Rittersheim, w Hünfeld, Fuldzie, Bad Hersfeld, Kleinsassen i innych). Od 1975 prowadził Wolną Akademię Sztuki w Hünfeld, a w 1990 roku otworzył tam Museum of Modern Art – z kolekcją o profilu międzynarodowym, skupiającą prace twórców o rodowodzie konstruktywistycznym. W 1993 roku założył Muzeum Artystów „Forum Sztuki Konkretnej” w Erfurcie oraz nieistniejące już Muzeum Sztuki Reduktywnej w Świeradowie-Zdroju. Gromadził dzieła sztuki artystów współczesnych z całego świata ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem sztuki postkonstruktywistycznej, w tym z Polski. W swych zbiorach posiadał ponad dwa tysiące prac. Część jego zbiorów została przekazana w 2011 roku Centrum Sztuki Galerii EL. W tym celu we wnętrzu Galerii powstała dwukondygnacyjna empora, na której prezentowana jest kolekcja Museum of Modern Art.
Działalność twórczą rozpoczął w latach 50. Malował wówczas kompozycje fakturowe, zbliżone do poetyki informel i malarstwa materii. W latach 60. tworzył metalowe geometryczne formy. Poszukiwania artystyczne doprowadziły go do postulatów redukcji formy. Z początkiem l. 90. tworzył minimalistyczne obiekty z serii zatytułowanej Skończoność. W tym też okresie znaczące w jego twórczości stały się Konstelacje energetyczne – formy sześcianów białych i czarnych.

Gerhard Jürgen Blum-Kwiatkowski (born October 22, 1930 in Faulen [a], died August 11, 2015 in Hünfeld) - Polish artist working in Germany, painter, installation creator, art theorist, founder of the Museum Modern Art Hünfeld and the New Space gallery in Fulda, initiator and co-founder of the Galeria EL Art Center, creator of the idea of "reductive art".
He studied fine arts and philosophy of art (1952–1967). After the war, he lived in Elbląg. He was the co-founder and manager of the Club of Young Intelligentsia "Czerwona Oberża" (1956–1961), then the initiator and manager of the Galeria EL Art Laboratory in the years 1961–1974. Initiator and curator of five editions of the Biennial of Spatial Forms in Elbląg in the years 1965–1973, which were reviews and symposia of exploratory art (neoconstructivism, conceptualism, extended cinema, performance). In Elbląg, you can see in public space the form he created during the 1st Biennale of Spatial Forms in 1965. In 1974, he left for Germany. From then on, he implemented the idea of "stationism" in art, establishing the so-called folk high schools (Volkshochschulen) in various places. art stations (in Cornberg Monastery, Rittersheim Castle, in Hünfeld, Fulda, Bad Hersfeld, Kleinsassen and others). From 1975 he ran the Free Academy of Art in Hünfeld, and in 1990 he opened the Museum of Modern Art there - with an international collection, bringing together the works of artists with a constructivist origin. In 1993, he founded the Artists' Museum "Forum of Concrete Art" in Erfurt and the now defunct Museum of Reductive Art in Świeradów-Zdrój. He collected works of art by contemporary artists from all over the world, with particular emphasis on post-constructivist art, including Poland. He had over two thousand works in his collection. Part of his collection was donated to the EL Gallery Art Center in 2011. For this purpose, a two-story gallery was built inside the Gallery, where the collection of the Museum of Modern Art is presented.
He began his creative activity in the 1950s. At that time, he painted textural compositions similar to the poetics of informel and matter painting. In the 1960s he created metal geometric forms. His artistic searches led him to postulates of form reduction. At the beginning of the 1990s, he created minimalist objects from the series entitled Finite. During this period, Energy Constellations - forms of white and black cubes - became significant in his work.
