Stephen Stills (born January 3, 1945, in Dallas) is an American folk-rock musician, singer, and guitarist, known for his performances with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash, as well as for his solo career.

In 2003, he was ranked No. 28 on Rolling Stone magazine’s list of the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.” He was ranked No. 47 on the 2011 list. Stills became the first person to be inducted twice into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on the same night, for his work with Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills & Nash.
