Stanisław Młodożeniec (ur. 1953) – polski malarz.

Ukończył studia na Wydziale Malarstwa Akademii Sztuk Pięknych w Warszawie, w pracowniach profesorów Michała Byliny i Jacka Sienickiego. Maluje obrazy realistyczne lub figuratywne i abstrakcje. Inspiruje się tradycjami wielkich awangard pierwszej połowy XX wieku. Od dwudziestu lat mieszka i tworzy w Nowym Jorku, który chętnie uwiecznia w swoich pracach. Ostatnio prace Stanisława Młodożeńca obszerniej prezentowane były w trakcie festiwalu „New New Yorkers” w Warszawie w 2004 roku.

Należy do znanej rodziny artystów: jest synem grafika Jana Młodożeńca i bratem grafika Piotra oraz wnukiem poety Stanisława Młodożeńca.

PORTRAIT with HISTORY Stanisław Młodożeniec

Stanisław Młodożeniec is a Polish painter. He graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where he studied under Professors Michał Bylina and Jacek Sienicki. He creates realist, figurative, and abstract paintings, drawing inspiration from the great avant-garde traditions of the first half of the twentieth century. For the past twenty years, he has lived and worked in New York City, a city frequently depicted in his works. His paintings were extensively presented during the “New New Yorkers” festival in Warsaw in 2004.

He comes from a renowned artistic family: he is the son of graphic artist Jan Młodożeniec, the brother of graphic artist Piotr Młodożeniec, and the grandson of poet Stanisław Młodożeniec.

Piotr Młodożeniec recalled their childhood: “...From our earliest years, my brother and I grew up surrounded by paper and colors. We constantly watched our father at work. It made us very happy, and I think that was how he instilled in us a love for art...”

Photographer Czesław Czapliński wrote about meeting the artist in October 1984 at Lipert Gallery in New York: “...What remained with me after that meeting was the artist’s extraordinary modesty...”

Stanisław Młodożeniec once said about Warsaw: “...In Warsaw, I am interested in what has preserved the spirit of the city as I remember it. Many things have changed their appearance, and many look wonderful now, for example Krakowskie Przedmieście just next to us. But many places are losing their character. I am interested in those that still retain it. Parks, the Vistula River, allotment gardens, the tram depot, old signs...”
