“…W moim świecie kobieta spotyka morską głębię, mitologiczne stwory i lukrowane absurdy. Kocham kolor – zwłaszcza róż, który dla mnie nie jest słodki, ale potężny. Jest symbolem siły, przewrotności i odwagi bycia inną.

Nie boję się łączyć rzeczy z pozoru niepasujących. Pączek może być głową, kobieta może mieć twarz ryby, wąż może być opiekunem nie zagrożeniem.W moich obrazach wszystko jest możliwe, jeśli tylko ma emocję i sens. Eksperymentuję z formą, skalą i symboliką, ale najbliższe jest mi malarstwo olejne – fizyczne, intensywne, cielesne jak skóra…” – Ewa Stawiarska.

Ewa Stawiarska ur. w 1984 r. w Opatowie, ukończyła studia na Wydziale Sztuki Uniwersytetu Technologiczno – Humanistycznego im K. Pułaskiego w Radomiu na kierunku grafika. Mieszka w Ostrowcu Świętokrzyskim i zajmuję się rzeźbą modeli paleontologicznych na podstawie skamieniałości. Zawodowo jest związana z firmą kamyk.pl. Jej prace znajdują się w muzeach na całym świecie: w Muzeum Historii Naturalnej Naturbornholm na Bornholmie, Museum Moab Giants w Utah, Museum Isle of Wight w Wielkiej Brytanii, Le Musee de la Mer na Martynice, Aathal Dinosaur Museum w Szwajcarii. W Polsce można je oglądać m.in. w Centrum Edukacji Przyrodniczej Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego oraz w Muzeum Przyrodniczym Uniwersytetu Łódzkiego. Oprócz rzeźby zajmuje się malarstwem, które uwielbia. Ma na swoim koncie liczne wystawy zbiorowe i indywidualne.

“…In my world, a woman meets the depths of the sea, mythological creatures, and sugar-coated absurdities. I love color—especially pink, which to me is not sweet, but powerful. It is a symbol of strength, subversion, and the courage to be different.

I am not afraid to combine things that seemingly do not belong together. A doughnut can be a head, a woman can have a fish’s face, a snake can be a guardian rather than a threat. In my paintings, everything is possible as long as it carries emotion and meaning. I experiment with form, scale, and symbolism, but I feel closest to oil painting—physical, intense, and as sensual as skin…” – Ewa Stawiarska.

Ewa Stawiarska, born in 1984 in Opatów, graduated from the Faculty of Art at the Kazimierz Pułaski University of Technology and Humanities in Radom, majoring in graphic arts. She lives in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski and creates paleontological model sculptures based on fossils. Professionally, she is associated with the company kamyk.pl. Her works can be found in museums around the world, including the NaturBornholm Museum of Natural History on Bornholm, the Moab Giants Museum in Utah, the Dinosaur Isle Museum on the Isle of Wight in the United Kingdom, Le Musée de la Mer in Martinique, and the Aathal Dinosaur Museum in Switzerland. In Poland, her works can be seen, among others, at the Nature Education Centre of the Jagiellonian University and at the Natural History Museum of the University of Łódź. In addition to sculpture, she is also passionate about painting. She has participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions.
