Andrzej Bart (ur. 3 września 1951 we Wrocławiu) –powieściopisarz, scenarzysta i reżyser.
Jest twórcą unikającym rozgłosu. Mawiano o nim, że to polski Thomas Pynchon, bo chce, aby mówiono o jego książkach i filmach, a jego samego pozostawiono w spokoju. Jego powieści były tłumaczone na francuski, niemiecki, hebrajski, czeski, węgierski, rosyjski i słoweński.
Pierwszy raz spotkaliśmy się i robiłem mu zdjęcia 16 listopada 2010 r., na planie filmu "Boulevard Voltaire", gdzie Bart po raz kolejny wraca do jednego ze swych ulubionych tematów, a mianowicie skomplikowanych relacji polsko - żydowskich. Bart był tutaj autorem scenariusza i reżyserem, a filmował Witold Adamek, z którym przez lata się przyjaźniłem. Ale tak naprawdę osobiste portrety Andrzejowi Bartowi zrobiłem 10 września 2021 r. kiedy spędziliśmy miłe przedpołudnie w Łodzi, mieście gdzie Bart obecnie mieszka, mieście mojego urodzenia, mieście z którym wiąże się wiele wspomnień z młodości. I myślę, że właśnie to spowodowało, że powstała niesamowita atmosfera.

Bart nakręcił wiele filmów dokumentalnych, między innymi Eva R. o córce pianisty Artura Rubinsteina, Hiob, o malarzu Marku Rudnickim, Marian Brandys, o pisarzu Marianie Brandysie. Jest autorem scenariusza i producentem filmu dokumentalnego Radegast. Napisał także scenariusz, a następnie reżyserował słuchowisko radiowe i film telewizyjny Boulevard Voltaire nagrodzony na Festiwalu Dwa Teatry w Sopocie (2011) nagrodami za najlepszy tekst i reżyserię.

Andrzej Bart (born September 3, 1951 in Wrocław) - novelist, screenwriter and director.
He is an artist who avoids publicity. It was said about him that he was the Polish Thomas Pynchon, because he wanted his books and films to be talked about, and he wanted to be left alone. His novels have been translated into French, German, Hebrew, Czech, Hungarian, Russian and Slovenian.
We met for the first time and I took pictures of him on November 16, 2010, on the set of the film "Boulevard Voltaire", where Bart once again returns to one of his favorite topics, namely the complicated Polish-Jewish relations. Bart was the scriptwriter and director here, and Witold Adamek, with whom I was friends for years, filmed. But in fact, I took personal portraits of Andrzej Bart on September 10, 2021, when we spent a nice morning in Łódź, the city where Bart currently lives, the city of my birth, the city with many memories from my youth. And I think that's what created an amazing atmosphere.

Bart has made many documentaries, including Eva R. about the daughter of pianist Artur Rubinstein, Hiob, about the painter Marek Rudnicki, Marian Brandys, about the writer Marian Brandys. He is the scriptwriter and producer of the documentary Radegast. He also wrote the screenplay and then directed the radio play and the television film Boulevard Voltaire, which won awards for the best text and direction at the Two Theaters Festival in Sopot (2011).
