Zarówno na zdjęciach, jak i w swoich pracach malarskich Warhol przez całe życie udowadniał prawdę i pokazywał, że piękno kryje się wszędzie, podobnie jak brzydota.

Warhol, którego spotkałem kilka razy w swoim życiu, został mi w pamięci jako małomówny, skromny, jakby nieobecny w tym co się wokół niego działo – a przecież sam to prowokował. Większość pism i magazynów nie tylko artystycznych, na całym świecie uhonorowała go na okładkach, a często powtarzało się stwierdzenie, że był to najbardziej znany artysta po Picassie. Zaczęto również, co szczególnie w Stanach Zjednoczonych jest ważne, oceniać jego majątek, rozpoczęto od szacunku 10-15 milionów dolarów, w co wchodziło: tysiące niesprzedanych oryginalnych prac Warhola, domy i ziemia na Manhattanie, Long Island, w Colorado, jego wychodzący od 1969 r. miesięcznik "Interview", prawa do filmów... Warhol od wielu lat, tak jak każdego dnia robił zdjęcia, tak też kupował. Mania zbieracka pozostała mu chyba z dzieciństwa, albo jak niektórzy mówia nigdy nie przestał być dzieckiem, gdyż już jako sześcioletnie dziecko zbierał fotografie z autografami filmowych gwiazd.
W testamencie Warhol zapisał dwóm swoim starszym braciom Paulowi i Johnowi po 250 000 dolarów, natomiast całą resztę powierzył swojemu wieloletniemu przyjacielowi i agentowi Frederickowi W.Hughesowi, z dyspozycją spieniężenia wszystkiego i utworenia The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts, z którego co roku 5% będzie przyznawane artystom. Andy Warhol urodzony 6 sierpnia 1928 roku w Pittsburgu, w rodzinie słowackiego emigranta – zaraz po ukończeniu Carnegie Institute of Technology w 1949 roku przenosi się do Nowego Jorku. Nieomal natychmiast zaczyna współpracować z magazynami: "Vogue", "Seventeen", "The New Yorker", "Harper's Bazaar"...rysując reklamy, za co otrzymuje w 1952 r. medal The Art Directors Clube, a w 1954 od American Institute of Graphic Arts. Warhol jako jeden z pierwszych obok Rauschenberga, Lichtensteina, Oldenburga, Segala, Johnsa, Rosenquista, Wesselmanna, wprowadził do sztuki współczesną mu amerykańską rzeczywistość. Zmultiplikowane wizerunki amerykańskich idoli: Marylin Monroe, Elvisa Presleya, butelki Coca-Cola, dolara, to tylko niektóre najbardziej znane jego prace z nurtu, Pop-Artu, czyli sztuki z ludu i dla ludzi, którego był jednym z głównych twórców. W połowie lat 60-tych przerwał swoje zainteresowania malarskie i zajął się filmem. Zrobił ponad 60 filmów, z których najważniejsze i najbardziej znane to: "Sleep", "Kiss", "Blow Job", "Empire", "The Chelsea Girl".
Stając się niezwykle sławny jeszcze za życia Warhol wystawiał we wszystkich ważniejszych muzeach na świecie. "...Jeśli chcecie wiedzieć wszystko o Warholu – tak kiedyś sam powiedział – wystarczy przyjżeć się moim obrazom, filmom i mnie samemu, i oto jestem. Nic nie ma poza tym...". Wyrażając się o reklamie, którą właściwie przez całe życie uprawiał w takiej czy innej formie, powiedział "...Rozgłos jest jak jedzenie orzeszków ziemnych. Gdy raz zaczniesz, nie możesz skończyć...". Warhol nigdy nie powiedział, czym jest pop-art. Nie szkodzi. Pop żyje. Sam Warhol jest tego najlepszym przykładem. Robi to nawet z zaświatów.
Pamiętam na końcu mojej sesji Warhol nie wytrzymał i wyjął swój aparat i zaczął mnie fotografować. Do dziś nie mam tych zdjęć, ale nie tracę nadziei, gdyż wszystkie jego prace zostały zachowane.

Most magazines and magazines, not just artistic ones, honored him on the covers around the world, and it was often said that he was the most famous artist after Picasso. It also began, which is especially important in the United States, to assess his assets, began with an estimate of $ 10-15 million, which included: thousands of unsold original Warhol works, homes and land in Manhattan, Long Island, Colorado, his outgoing from 1969 Interview monthly, rights to films ... Warhol never said what pop art is. Does not matter. Pop is alive. Warhol himself is the best example. He does it even from beyond. Das Sammeln von Manie ist wahrscheinlich aus seiner Kindheit geblieben, oder wie manche sagen, hat er nie aufgehört, ein Kind zu sein, weil er als sechsjähriges Kind Fotos mit Autogrammen von Filmstars gesammelt hat.
In seinem Testament schrieb Warhol an seine beiden älteren Brüder Paul und John für 250.000 USD, während er den Rest seinem langjährigen Freund und Agenten Frederick W. Hughes anvertraute, mit der Anweisung, alles einzulösen und die Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts zu gründen, von der 5% wird an Künstler vergeben. Andy Warhol wurde am 6. August 1928 in Pittsburgh in einer Familie eines slowakischen Einwanderers geboren. Nach seinem Abschluss am Carnegie Institute of Technology im Jahr 1949 zog er nach New York. Fast sofort beginnt er mit den Magazinen "Vogue", "Seventeen", "The New Yorker", "Harper's Bazaar" zu arbeiten ... und zeichnet Werbespots, für die er 1952 die Medaille des Art Directors Clube und 1954 vom American Institute of erhielt Grafik. Im selben Jahr fand seine erste Ausstellung in New York statt.
Warhol war neben Rauschenberg, Liechtenstein, Oldenburg, Segal, Johns, Rosenquist und Wesselmann einer der ersten, der die zeitgenössische amerikanische Realität in die Kunst einführte. Multiplizierte Bilder amerikanischer Idole: Marylin Monroe, Elvis Presley, Flaschen Coca-Cola, Dollar sind nur einige seiner berühmtesten Werke aus dem Trend Pop Art, d. H. Kunst von Menschen und für Menschen, von denen er einer der Hauptschöpfer war. Mitte der 1960er Jahre stoppte er seine Malinteressen und beschäftigte sich mit Film. Er drehte über 60 Filme, von denen die wichtigsten und bekanntesten waren: "Sleep", "Kiss", "Blow Job", "Empire", "The Chelsea Girl". Warhol wurde zu Lebzeiten sehr berühmt und stellte in allen wichtigen Museen der Welt aus. "... Wenn du alles über Warhol wissen willst - wie er einmal sagte - ist es genug, meine Bilder, Filme und mich selbst anzusehen, und hier bin ich. Es gibt nichts anderes ..." Ich denke, dass hinter all dem ein außergewöhnlicher Mann steht, um den sich eine großartige Umgebung versammelt hat. Es ist schwer, seinen Einfluss auf das Geschehen in der Kunst nicht zu sehen, er ist dauerhaft in die Geschichte eingegangen, und die Tatsache, dass er eine große Gruppe von Anhängern verlassen hat, bedeutet nicht, dass er klein war. Er drückte die Werbung aus, die er sein ganzes Leben lang praktisch in der einen oder anderen Form praktizierte, und sagte: "... Werbung ist wie Erdnüsse essen. Wenn man einmal angefangen hat, kann man nicht mehr fertig werden ...". Warhol hat nie gesagt, was Pop Art ist. Ist egal. Pop lebt. Warhol selbst ist das beste Beispiel. Er tut es sogar von jenseits. Ich erinnere mich, dass Warhol am Ende meiner Sitzung es nicht aushielt und seine Kamera herausnahm und anfing, mich zu fotografieren. Bis heute habe ich diese Fotos nicht, aber ich verliere nicht die Hoffnung, weil alle seine Werke erhalten geblieben sind. "... Ist das Leben nicht eine Reihe von Bildern, die sich während der Wiederholung ändern? ..." - Ich denke, genau wie Warhol. So wie er mit Menschen auf Leinwänden spielte, einschließlich der berühmten Porträts von Marylin Monroe, habe ich es mit ihm auf den Bildern gemacht das habe ich ihm angetan. Und so schließt sich der Kreis.
